About Dr Hsieh

Dr Amy Hsieh graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Medicine in 2009 and completed her physician training in Endocrinology at Greenslopes Private Hospital and Townsville Hospital. She further completed training in Adult Internal Medicine at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Dr Hsieh has a keen interest in all areas of general Endocrinology, including the management of type 1 and type 2 diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary diseases, calcium disorders, and osteoporosis.

Dr Hsieh values professional development and regularly attends scientific conferences as well as being a presenter at a national level. She is an associate clinical lecturer with The University of Queensland.

Dr Hsieh is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and a Member of the Endocrine Society of Australia and the US Endocrine Society.

With a background as a General Physician, Dr Hsieh endeavours to provide holistic and personalised care for patients, ensuring well-informed explanations to support patients through complex health issues.

Dr Hsieh has a private practice at Brisbane Endocrinology in Spring Hills. She also holds a public appointment at Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII).
